Accrington were convinced 3rd spot was signed and sealed before that last Saturday of the season, and certain Plymouth supporters I have come across have shown no dignity in their arrogance and dismissal of Wimbledon's chances in the final today. I am so pleased that Wimbledon put them in their place today. I hope both teams enjoy another season in league 2 wondering ' what might have been'. That's one thing that following Rovers for years has taught us on many painful occasions - take nothing for granted and prepare to do things the hard way! Unfortunately, we have cocked things up so often in the past, its very rare to hear a Gashead getting arrogant or cock sure about anything these days!

It was a bit like DC singing in the pub "we are going up" before we faced Grimsby! Thankfully we got away with it.... just!
