ppl should remember that Dobbie was signed from Queen of the South, hardly a Scottish Prem League side, so as has been mentioned many times, will never be a PL player as much as i would like him to make the transition

Some people just can't make the step up, no shame in that at all. I was completely pants at playing football and just couldn't do it, now rugby was different and I did play that for some time.

If Blackpool want Dobbie, I will take Baptiste as cover for our central defenders plus cash. Lets see how much they want him. I am sick of Swansea reaching 'agreements' with players to leave contracts, unfortunately they are collateral and we cannot keep heamorrhaging money/assets at a club like ours.

Blackpool have parachute payments and the gate receipts from today to fall back on ... they are not skint and do not need a hand out.

As I've said many times we all love the dobster but it's clear to see that he is not quite perm standard,no shame in that!

I have no real problem keeping him but his limited game makes it hard to give him a place on the bench when his rivals can cover various positions on the field.

Like others have said, his fitness must be an issue if he can never seem to play a full 90mins . Again this means if he starts a game we need to make sure the bench is used ,in effect it leaves us with 2 tactical options instead of the usual 3 that's not good when perm points and tactics are so important.

    Ps

Mansel ton, how is it going fella ? Hope you have recovered and are feeling better now ,been there myself dude !<ok>

I'm a fan of Dobbie's but the reality is that he won't ever be first choice for us now. His only real chance was breaking into the side last season, but he didn't get his chance for whatever reason so we move on.

We've had such a good first season that the calibre of players that we can now attract will have risen. All new players bought from now on should be direct replacements for current squad/first team members, and as a result I can only see Dobbie falling further down the pecking order. It's sad, but that's football. Let's get some cash for him off Blackpool and move on. The Dobbie debate is getting boring.

Funny how this manselton fella (joined Feb 2012 when we were having one of our more heated exchanges Norway) disappeared when I pointed out that IP addresses could be traced to see who had multiple accounts.

Did you notice that Norway? :emoticon-0136-giggl

Yeah I did notice that, how do you gain access if somebody types on an I phone though? Not that you can trace an ip address unless you get a super mod to investigate of course, another point to make is that an ip address only gives you a rough location anyway.

I use a program that gives me a uk ip address and I'm in Norway ( maybe!). So good luck in stalking fellow message board members kj ! I'm sure your paranoid tendencies will keep you entertained for hours..<laugh> and please let me know how you get on in trying to prove terror wit ,Norway jack,WSAF,manselton jack and John hughs are the same person <ok>

Your last post seems to indicate you've given this more than some passing thought. Nailed. <ok>

Never suggested you're anyone else other then your 'friend-who-was-only-someone-I-met-outside-a-pub-once' , Mr Manselton.

    It's sad though.

Not really, it's part of my job <ok>

But here is a question for you, I'm not in stavanger or Bergen right now but traveling between, a free cocktail for you if you can tell me where I am and what mode of transport I'm on!

If you know somebody with access to triangulate signals I suggest you enlist their help, an ip will give you didly squat <laugh>

Most posters who only have one username wouldn't go to all that trouble or even care.

    Like I said, nailed!

Btw, I know enough to get a general location. I don't give a flying **** where you are but it'll be interesting to see where our friend is won't it? :emoticon-0172-mooni

Anyway, I'm sure our fellow Jacks are bored with this. PM me if you want to insult me as usual. You don't have to hide behind manselton-who-I-met-outside-a-pub-once to do that. <ok>

No I agree. But they're good on general geographical locations so my contacts tell me. For instance, if a person is in one country or another. Unless you're on a proxy server. Most people only use those if they've got something to hide. Present company excepted of course. :)
