It's not about where you're born or where you live- it's all about rejecting your local team to 'support' someone who is higher up the football pyramid and more likely to win things. Optional extras: they don't actually attend games, and they may well (illogically) support their local team in other sports. It's about taking the easy way out and the coward's path.
Here you are everyone - the way to debate. Keep repeating the same term ad infinitum, (look that term up SNB as I doubt you know what it means) and ignore absolutely everything anyone asks you.
That's why I highlighted why the East Yorkshire Whites get so much criticism but he chose to ignore even that.
I quite agree and honestly wouldn't normally get involved in this sort of thing. But given my recent events in life, this has just been a bit too much to ignore.
I believe the original poster has not expressed himself correctly and that many posters have overreacted to his post. Plastics do exist unfortunately and there are too many of them- especially in Hull.
Absolutely and I don't like plastics myself. It's his subsequent definition of plastics and complete refusal to even debate or answer reasonable questions that has made him look like a twat.
I know where you're coming from mate but the silly **** really isn't worth getting worked up over. He talks constant ****e, I think he might have learning difficulties so I sort of feel bad for slating him. Why the **** Agron is sticking up for him is beyond me as well. Pair of arseholes together I suppose.
The enemy within? They're far better than cretins like this suited and booted. At least they add positivity and encouragement. The enemy within is those narrow minded simpletons who judge their fellow fans and claim some strange kind hull city fan superiority. They must have really **** lives to even think about it.
Of what? Silliness and tawdry behaviour? Do me a favour- this stuff is killing the game. My life is really great- don't want to go into detail on here. Hope yours is too.
Facepaint - acceptable for the under 7s. Foam Hands - they block the view of the pitch and should be banned. Alternatives could be to use your real hands to cheer the team on and applaud them. Tiger Onesies - WTF? Actually at the 'we're already relegated' Wigan away game of 2010 game two fully grown men turned up in Onesies and looked hilarious. But for that one off occasion of 'we're relegated but we're having a party' it actually worked. SNB - should be humanely put to sleep. BTW - just my opinion. I'm not judging anyone.
How on earth is it killing the game? And what's wrong with silliness and tawdry behaviour? A bit of fun, cheering on the team, waving your foam hand whatever. As long as you're not being anti social, abusive or intimidating everyone should be entitled to enjoy their match experience any way they wish to, and that's what they do. ****ers who run to the front of the stand to hurl dogs abuse at the players like away at Barnsley and who turn up purely to cause trouble with the police like away at Wednesday, both last season, are the ones killing the game and need rooting out and banning for life.
At least we got to see your dad dids! Some goods come out of it! I don't think he'd be using the word crass for this debate though eh?
When you put it like that I fully agree. Just thinking about it - I don't think I've ever seen a foam hand at a match. Has anyone else?
Yes we fans have a duty to shield the SYP from any unpleasant chanting. I know many of them were traumatised in 1989. There was a lot of them who got paid compensation after that Hillsborough SF game. Shame on any fans who cast aspersions on the integrity of such a force.
You go for it then mate! They're obviously not as intrusive as I presumed them to be so I retract my previous statement on them being banned.
Yeah, 2 young lads who sit in front of me being them to every game. Don't wave them unless we score though so they're never in the way, so it doesn't bother me.
