Not really, how many actually make the breakthrough at that age and become a success? So few that you could run a policy of fast tracking exceptional candidates, which would work much like some education systems where exceptional candidates move up a year so not to hold them back and ultimately graduate early, the same could be applied here. Meaning the fast tracked players are available for the draft at a younger age.
A good solution mate. Send off the email to the FA tomorrow <ok>

I disagree with Mr Dyke on this, I also thought his plan for a B-league was a bit pointless.

As someone mentioned earlier this will just make the league weaker and have little impact on the national side, consider the players that have been in the England squad in the last 10 years all have been big names at big clubs. The issue isn't a lack of players...

I think the problem is all English players want to play in England, therefore we don't have any English players with experience in other other leagues other than Europa and Champions league, which obviously arn't enough. Remember Hargreaves in the world cup 2006, the lad was on fire! I believe this was because he spent a few years in the German league.

Disagree entirely with this legislation. Either we should restrict it to x number of British kids or not legislate at all.

I don't feel any more benefit coming from employing a load of French or German kids then I do from employing a load of Ghanaian or Argentine kids. They're all foreigners to me - either you like them or you don't. I do, but not selectively. This is pure prejudice.

And let's face it there will be a hell of a lot of second passport applications going round if this goes through.

It's an entirely futile plan.
