The league has been more competitive for years now, tho' that didn't stop us from winning five out of the last seven titles, most of them at a canter. Our current situation has nothing to do with the league being competitive, and everything to do with us having just lost the greatest manager in English football history. And replaced him with a guy who seems to have left all his tactics and ability in the Goodison Park dugout...
I actually thought the Blackburn fans where wrong in there constant attack on Steve Keene. Ye they got relegated, but had there been a better more supportive atmosphere for there home games, rather than boos and Keene out banners I reckon they may have avoided the drop. I remember when they came to OT and beat us, they where still calling for the managers head in the next home game. That's why I hope we don't start booing and putting up negative banners, as we are still in the CL, so we don't want to make it any harder for the players, than it already is
so your trying to tell me that if saf was in charge you would win the league and that teams haven't got better ,,,don't belive it one bit ..just my view. don't think there will be any canters by any team for a while ..
I don't think that's what he said. Truth is, all the teams above us bought well in the summer so of course they've improved. Us having an inferior manager has naturally weakened us. On topic though, outraged fans w**king off with public displays of tosspotness solves f**k all. #madeUpWord
This^ Thanks Chief. You made my point, but with much more succinctity*. * #anothermadeupwordthatiswidelyusedurbanlybecausetheyveneverheardthewordsuccinctness
Trust me, they were right to get him out for more than just football reasons. The guy genuinely was a fraud. He was dodgy as ****.
Hopefully someone will put a stop to this stupidity, on the flip side if the players are still on side like Moyes says then hopefully this will motivate them
If you couldn't get motivated for Liverpool at OT then wtf is gonna motivate them? It was a **** you to the fans, that performance. #theymissfergiefiddlingwiththeircocks
I must admit I'm surprised that United fans are doing this tbh. You've kept a dignified silence in terms of having a pop at Moyes inside the ground up to press, so this stunt seems a bit off key and hardly helpful......
The reason behind it simple really. Moyes genuinely thinks he has the support of most United fans. This simply isnt true. the club has the support of all and the players + moyes will be supported in games to a point. The banner is in response to Stretford end flags claiming they speak for all United fans and for Moyes' ignorance and arrogance about the feelings of United fans. Some seem to think Moyes is doing fine, moyes included. This is simply wrong and the banner will show that Moyes is under pressure and United fans expect him gone sooner rather than later. Strange way to do it but if it gets the message across then a job well done.
Do you really think that's the case? I'm not sure that any United fan is having the current situation, they're just allowing him time. I'm equally sure he knows he's in the deep **** and needs to turn it around quick sharp.
I dont think he is but some seem to be making that claim. whether its for the cameras i dont know. However it does seem that Moyes is under no pressure when it should seem like hes under massive pressure. Not just now but from day 1. Its qa high pressure job and you need to be able to perform under pressure to be a success in the role. Maybe someone should have told Moyes. Also think some of the ****e hes said is part of the reason. Hodgesonesque.
I must admit I never realised just how big Moyes ego was until he left. Many Blues wanted him gone ages ago and I used to think they were barking, but I've seen another side to him in the last 9 months. He seems to think he's much better than he actually is imo, he's certainly very stubborn. In any case I doubt he'll be your problem for much longer, end of season and he'll get his cards imo.
