how many people think 'news story' this was released just to help bury the fact that BE has been accused, rightly, of corruption on the same day?

Totally... I doubt it'll ever happen. Once the dust clears and a few others have been silenced, It will get canned with the blame for it's shelving being attributed to some other individual or authority.

Cynic or just familiar with the way this bullshit plays out?

We don't any more toy-town street circuits. We have Singapore, Valencia and Yas Marina for that.

A second race in Britain is highly unlikely given the drive to expand into India, Russia, USA etc etc. These are already at the expense of European races.

A circuit which passes through Admiralty Arch? They may have done something like that at Donington Park in the 1930's but I think there might [absolutely rightly] be just one or two safety concerns about it now.

Leave it on the simulator where somebody's PR department meant it to stay.......

Would F1 be a good long time venture for the stadium? if a GP was hosted in London it would only be for 5-6 wouldnt it before we decide we are stupid and cant host two grand prixs. Then what happens to the stadium?
