First game I remember watching on TV was the cup final in 74. Yep, didn't put me off.
Think I started going in 1976, either Leazes end or Gallowgate.
Got a season ticket the year we signed Andy Cole, had it for a while.
I've turned plastic now though, now I can't get a ticket.
I see you went through all the glory years

I'm from Bournemouth but have supported Newcastle all my life. At least once a week now someone tries to suggest I've only just started supporting them.
Nice. I lived in Bournemouth 86-89 and eventually came back home - West End of Newcastle - as I missed the football coverage. The Echo hardly ever mentioned Newcastle (or football as I remember!).
Saw Bournemouth play a few times - next favourite team since my days down in Boscombe and Poole. Great place!

I loved in Boscombe until recently. I'm just on the edge of Queens park now still only 10 min walk from the stadium. Bit harder to get tickets now as you can probably imagine but I still get to go several times a season and no doubt will be able to sort tickets for the toon game again now.

Its better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all <whistle>

Right then if it’s compulsory.

I first started going to the match eight years before I was born. I go to 84 matches per season and am always first in the ground and last out of it. Have been doing this for 169 years. At the match I always wear 7 football strips, 9 scarves, 4 NUFC hats, 45 badges and carry a spare pair of football boots in case I’m needed. I chant non stop for the entire time during the game and drink 37 pints of lager before during and after the game.
Part timer.

Spare a thought for me (an East African) -whose second favourite sport is cricket - and has been supporting NUFC for quite some years now. I am considered wierd. But am sure I will have more people "joining me" soon
