It’s the Liverpool fans that are the issue.

It says it all that Man City effectively bought the league but the neutrals don’t mind because it meant Liverpool didn’t win it.

Specifically LFC 'fans' that have no connection with the city, region or country.

How many 'scousers' are there in the average Anfield crowd?

As rare as red squirrels among the more numerous grey variant.

No worse than any other club that has had periods of success. Look at Man United, Chelsea, Man City who now pull fans from well outside their city boundaries.

'

MUFC & LFC are significantly worse in my experience.

It really amazes me how many posters on here appear not to support the concept of freedom of choice.
Why is it so diabolical for someone to support a team other than the team associated with their place of birth ?
Many factors are possible for generating an allegiance to a particular team, probably as many reasons that exist for someone not to support the team closest to their geographical residence . Plastics or Glory Seekers seem to be the common labels given to those decried.
The most likely response to this observation will be "It's only banter between opposing fans."
I don't think so. It's misguided tribalism.
Football is something that is there to enjoy. Let others decide on their preferred choice, for whatever reason.

Never met any Hull Tranmere or Stockport fans. or come to think of it Hull Orient or Brentford fans.

Just the same sad weak needy turds who latch onto successful clubs.

It's not 'supporting', it's identifying with a successful team.

Never quite understood that "they bought the league" thing.

It's like no one realises that the club that buys the best players will do quite well. Ordinarily.

Almost every club at the top of a league spends more than the ones lower down. And generally, they earn more. Both clubs, and players.

And most club's fans seem to demand that their owners spend millions of pounds on players. But moan about other clubs that do that same thing. Literally.

But no, Man C bought the league.

I thought you was dead

You’ve been in Canada a long time.

The people you mention are ****ing bellends. Sad, delinquent, lowlifes who think supporting Liverpool gives them some sort of elevated social status. They plaster their bodies and social media accounts in the Liverpool branding and think they’re big and clever bragging about how big and amazing Liverpool are.

Bollocks. How the **** do you come to that conclusion ?
I support Ayr United and Rotherham United. The question is why do I support them (as well as Hull City) ?
I'm fond of Newcastle too for other reasons. I wasn't around when they won all their FA cups and sundry other awards.
Funnily enough, I also follow (support) Brentford.
I do not have multiple personalities .
I have one Hull City shirt.

Personally don't understand how you can support more than one team.

Probably comes to that conclusion because he has never seen anyone in Hull walking around with those shirts on. Unlike people with Man Utd, Liverpool and TWS shirts.
Until we do we can safely says they choose another club because they are "big" clubs and more successful than their local team. Though with TWS it was often a case of inadequates thinking that they would be regarded as hard cases because they would be associated with .The Service Crew.

You can't. You can take an interest in another club. I always look or Ipswich's results and those of Hearts, for daft reasons going back to before I ever went to a City game but I wouldn't ever say I support them.

Don’t lie. You keep a keen eye on Sunderland and Norwich’s results too.
