I sometimes hate coming on this thread because once I listen to something I spend a couple of hours looking at loads of other similar stuff.

From '72 too, love this song, heard it when I was a young un, the vocals really hit me, even at that age, 11ish

My lad is off to Germany again end of next week, to see a couple of bands in Cologne, can't remember the names of the groups though, will be heavy metal / grunge.

I haven't got the hump at all - if I was at all bothered by your opinion I wouldn't post ... but your existence is merely incidental to my enjoyment of the forum ...

I thought it would be a bit of fun for the regulars on this thread to put up their first music purchases - so I asked...

...as I said; I saved my pocket money until I could afford it - then visited a record shop in Wigston, and bought 4 singles to play on our record player - I was 9 years old ... my taste in music obviously changed - as everybody else's will have from their first ever purchase... so I thought it would be quite amusing to see...

... but spam? ... not at all ...
