My job is done.
Took the kids out earlier, on the way there, they were discussing the merits of Robert Johnson, Howlin' Wolf, Billie Holiday and Nina Simone.

Never really been into classical but like the piano. Recently found a song off album in a film and recognised it so stuck the whole thing on and I really like it.

I've not got a piano, but it's one of my three things to play musical instrument wise, although I do have keyboard that I rarely venture on. My third instrument would be Sax.

I'm wondering if it's parts of themes put together that makes it sound familiar. So people would use phrases of the song to express emotions that then can be transferred into movies. Other than the entire piece being used, which it might have done, although doubt it, but I can hear the same as you where it sounds familiar.
