I only own eleven of them, including the No.1.
Not surprising, stopped buying that many CD's a while back.
It's a terrible list and proves my point in a lot of ways about the way music is seen in the modern world, 1 or 2 good tracks and it's declared a great album, what is that about? There's also a vibe of putting it up there because it's cool a great example is the PJ Harvey album in the top 10, I'm a fan but it just isn't a great album.
I've also tried listening to the other Lana Del Ray albums to see if I was missing something, I'm not they're ****.
There's a Rolling Stone one as well.
I don't know most of that CDs at all.

My ten year old was wibbling on about rappers who he listens to on YouTube and stuff, six nine or something? Tatts on his face and multicolored hair, no doubt ****e. There were others he mentioned, also never heard of them.
I told him I'd play him some actual decent stuff!
Not that I'm massively into that genre myself, just a like few specific artists. (appreciate this conversation has been done to death countless times)

Maybe it’s just me...but no matter how good an album is, I will eventually find songs on it I listen to a lot more than others...happens all the time.
I’ll make a mixtape and I’ll end up not listening to some of the tunes...or certainly I don’t repeat...whilst others get multiple repeats
It's the modern way, mixtapes are now hundreds long and done quickly by just adding songs on Spotify or whatever you use.
I'm old enough to remember that a 2 sided TDX cassette mixtape was a labour of love. Setting up the needle on the vinyl, play and record at the ready and sitting through the song ready to hit pause before the next track played, change the vinyl count in the grooves what track you wanted and on you go.
That's why we listened to more albums back then and albums were a labour of love for the artist, now they want hit singles and radio and TV airtime, the whole album may not be that good.
