Must have seen them a dozen times, always great live, stopped going a few years back, their last 3 albums have been pants and they started playing a lot of songs off them, plus Booth became a bit of a nob, since he went to yank land.

Aurora great show, really liked her first album, saw her on that tour, she must one of the nicest people out there. Mad as a box of frogs though

Her line, something like, I'm so nervous, it's like you're watching me ****ting, it doesn't feel right, could have been thought out better :biggrin:
 
I was watching a short close up clip of Sultans of Swing (1st solo) earlier, and it suddenly dawned on me how much it felt like the first lead in Hotel California, particularly around the 40-45 sec mark, must be some similar notes in there...

Intro took 30 secs to get started, but ignoring that frustrating element, it's not bad. Made me think of Ed Sheeran, so quick google tells me Ed Sheeran did a cover of this...

Moved from keys to strings, only problem with that it sounds like it's on loop, guitar bit defo been stolen from something though. The best bit is when he shuts up singing at 2.44 for around 30 seconds. Have we had this convo before, I feel like I'm trapped in Ground Hog day...Chasing Cars!

<laugh> probably - original was by Alphaville back in the 80s (electronic) ... Imagine Dragons tend to cover it at every concert and The Killers have also done it - but this is my favourite version ...

Ah right this is his new album, can't say I've followed him closely but I like a lot of what he does, will have a listen.
