Nah man keep posting I like that I don't like your tunes because it's then more interesting when you play something I like because it's pretty nailed on I won't have heard it before.
aled is great fella really nice boy from a really nice family his dad was working for genesis for years loves a smoke and knows his tunes…..tbh I’ve not noticed them playing for a while ….life’s a busy place and some gotta take time out for family I guess I’ve not seen anything planned for future either …..hopefully they’ll continue playing they always go down well when playing aberdare venues
That's right Aled, I didn't work directly with him but was talking about the band with his manager and he pointed at the guy and said he's in the band.
the drummer is his brother….he’s a good lad and all but bit shy compared to aled but most are when confronted by the Aberdare heads off thy faces The last I heard Alex was teaching music in some school…. He is brilliant playing delta blues he’s a big fan of Mississippi Fred mcdowell who I’m also very much into thanks to aled….I past on my Mississippi John hurt stuff for him to study…..music is a friend maker
Young un wants to learn how to play the guitar Where do I start with this? Brb dabbles I think? The late great Hiag definitely dabbled but RIP so....
I'd probably go classical guitar, gear4music will have reasonably priced guitars. In other words something cheap for a beginner. I'd don't know how old your young one is, but I'd probably go nylon strings rather than steel so it don't hurt their little fingers to begin with. You can also buy 1/2 and 3/4 size guitars, easier for smaller bodies. Probably get something in a pack such as case, spare strings etc, example here of a 3/4 scale with nylon strings, but just browse the site and put in your own spec requirements... https://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/3-4-Classical-Guitar-Pack-Sunburst-by-Gear4music/1ITY Let them play around with it for a while, if they are still keen then look for a local tutor, and upgrade guitar as they get older - otherwise good old youtube comes in handy. Edit: I should add, all my above assumptions are based on a right handed person. If the youngter is left handed, then the specs need to reflect that - otherwise the thin and thick strings will be the wrong way round.
Cheers bro he’s 8 and he’s right handed it seems I’ll take a look at that website and I’ll be in touch for further info no doubt
