Whoever chose that tune for the ad is a genius....
Tried the new Arctic Monkeys album and almost got to the end. I looked at some of the usual reviews from Pitchfork and Rolling Stone etc and it gets some decent write ups. I'm sorry but it's dull, really dull. I'm not one to expect a band to keep churning out the same stuff year after year there has to be a change in direction but the songs are simply boring.

So I've finally got around to the later Tom Waits albums. I just couldn't get into them and only really liked the early stuff. Tried a few songs now and then and just didn't like them. Maybe it was just bad luck.
Put Mule Variations on lately and I now have about about 15 albums that I had dismissed.
