Thoroughly enjoyed it mate.
Highlights, Carnage, Hand of God and Hollywood, no low moments.
Was thinking of any other artist who could do a similar thing and it work, only Kate Bush came to mind.
Yeah Hand of God is superb live, the force of sound generated was immense.

My last practice was shine on you crazy diamond, but decided to pick up those strings again today, but did a brief switch to wish you were here, so looked through youtube to see what decent covers were out there, best I found were these two, lead comes in at 1.46, although bit baffled by choice of guitar...

Anyway it got me thinking, can you get 12 strings to blend into 6 seemlessly. Well this genius says yes, you clearly can at just 43 seconds in...

That's all! :)

Well yeah but you got to go some to beat Yoni, other than the original of course.
I'm not a fan of Pink Floyd but love that track, there's something in the pace and the production of the original that is impossible to replicate. There's someones soul laid bare and you can't reproduce that.

Gilmour, 45 seconds in takes it to a different level...

Any oasis fans?

Theres a song of thiers someone posted the other day in another thread, bit depressing sounding, swearing in the lyrics

Thats all I got

Well gotta say, that was an enjoyable night.. First live music for ages.. some old fashioned rockabilly music.

Sound was great, but the ladies made it even better. All dancing in their lines, dressed in frocks, makeup plastered on..

For a gig I didn't fancy, it was superb...

Good to be back to live music. Added bonus, beer cost next to nowt..

Already planning the next one next month...

Was great to be out and about again..
