Yeah, nothing to do with Bournemouth though, it was all some players fault for losing the ball in the opposition half or shooting over the bar or something. Definitely not down to anything Bournemouth did
Funny as hell fairplay remember the **** we had for losing a 2 goal lead there lol and that was a 3-3 draw I wonder if there would have been a pitch invasion if Liverpool had scored the 4th and not Bournemouth Still top 4 is #nailed on and apparently there was never any title talk
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/37656968 Fixture congestion was the early season #excuseinplace It's a good job he spotted this and only managed to finish 8th to avoid European football
Fixture congestion is total bollocks in the PL. The four top leagues in Europe all play a 38 game season, they all take part in European competitions and they all have domestic cups. That said, the other three leagues start the season 1 or 2 weeks later than us, two of them have already played 1 or 2 more league games than us, they all have a winter break that we play through so how the **** can our schedule be more congested
Suppose it depends how far a club gets in cup games. that has a knock on effect with league games needing to be fitted in and also cup replays etc. I have seen foreign fa's move games to suit their clubs. ours are just ****s and don't care. ie why some clubs end up with 4 games in 10 days type scenario.
A lot of other clubs that play in European comps or their national cups can field weaker teams in the league / cup games to accommodate due to the strength of their league but due to the competitiveness of England, teams are having to play their strongest teams more often in order to try do well in both. Take Leicester, they've tried totally rotating their squads for both comps and it's had massive effect on league because you simply can't play a weaker team and get away with it here as much as you can in France Spain or Germany.
@astro hasn't had much to say on here after getting tanked by Bournemouth last weekend... Couldn't shut him up before that
