We wont be seeing 4-4-2 very often, thats a fact.
Not many higher quality sides play it anymore, its considered very old fashioned... I personally feel it has a place sometimes but with the right players, other variations will work far better these days.
At Citys level they are not good enough to play it. Most can't pass very well it end up launching it. There lies a problem for what City play up front. 4-5-1 Maynard up top = ****e. 4-5-1 Pitman up top = ****e. 4-5-1 in feb was relegation till McCinnes changed it around a bit with Stead up top.
