FORWARD Brett Pitman, 24, is set to rejoin ‐Bournemouth from Bristol City when the emergency loan window reopens next week.

Not realy surprised by that Andy......plenty of rumblings re his attitude and work ethic and he would probably be down the pecking order now a bit anyways.

Would be good for him to get some games - and Bournemouth have enough money to pay some of his wages

I know we have a surfit of Forwards and might be a good idea to go down the loan route but playing 4-4-2 each week we could rotate 4 and have one resting/injury

I still think Derek is on a seriously big learning curve, Taylor should have the start and a suitable partner from the rest honed with him and see how it pans out. Taylor and Stead look fine Baldock coming on mid second Half would unbalance the opposing defence and hopefully add to goals / goal already scored or hopefully break a deadlock

Mr Adomah is a real key to any team we put out, a bit emotional but needs to knuckle down and not do a NM...........sign a new 4 year contract with a get out clause if we dont get prem football in next 2 seasons.............

Adomah signed a 4 or 5 year deal at the beginning of last season didn't he? no rush IMO

maybe a senior moment...I thought he still had to sign missed that bit in that case he should get his head down and score 10 goals this season

Seriously think Pitman has had his time here, obviously something it not right,be it attitude,or something else.

But Bournemouth for a return, just shows something is wrong if that is the where he wants to be.

Surely a confident and on fire Pitman is good enough for the championship.

No disrespect to Bournemouth but he should be looking a lot higher than that move.

More after next season he's out of contract, we might face the Maynard fiasco again next summer

Well he should look at how it panned out for Maynard and learn from another's mistakes. If he decides to go-let him.
As Real have discovered, no club can own a player onlly employ one

Yeah you're right - Summer 2014 according to Wiki. I thought it was a longer deal than that. We'll see how he plays this season, if he plays well again I imagine premier league teams will be sniffing around and at that point we should sell unless he signs a new deal in the summer.

he signed an impoved 3 year contract last year, obviously when we brought him he wasn't being payed a great deal and after his first season a pay rise was due

As I've already said here before it'd be a mistake to get rid of Pitman before he's had a chance to really prove himself under McInnes.

However, it looks like he's rubbed the manager the wrong way so I doubt he'll get that chance.

Good luck to him if he does choose to move, and hopefully we'll be far more patient with our current crop of forwards.

I can see it going Davies playing in the Pearson position or maybe out left with Woolford coming inside a bit, so we could then go down to 3 attackers.

JGF I would start with Baldock and (going to piss some of here) Taylor.

And would off kept Brett as a sub or replacement for Baldock.

Could of went Baldock / Pitman it worked before with small attackers in Neville and Riley

when I watched the pre-season match down Bournemouth Brett came out out the ground holding his baby and didn't go home on the team coach, so perhaps he still lives in Dorset?

I always found it slightly weird that he turned down Premiership Blackpool to come and play for us.
Dont get me wrong. There is much I admire about Brett as a player (reminds me of Keith Fear which cant be bad), but I do think he may be a bit of a mummy's boy.
Maybe thats why McDel cant be bothered

As I've said before everything about Pitman looks second hand.

A lot of the time he looks like a scruffy, unfit, unshaven, lethargic person who seems to have trouble getting out of his own way

If that's how he is in reality then I can see Del saying that he doesnt fit the new clean cut and super fit image that the club wants to promote.

He has a lethargic style which does not help his cause - I'm not sure hes a DM player
A month's loan at Bournemouth would be good for him and both clubs
