Looks like we're going to be having a bit of a battle of the next couple of months, I suspect we'll be swapping places a few times between now and the end of the season.
Tuesday should be interesting. On paper we have an easy home win, so that'll be two or three points down the toilet. But on the other hand you and Palace can't both have a good night. Just to keep this sort of on topic, I don't think they play much rugby league at Selhurst Park.
I wasn't impressed with Palace at all at the KC in November. They didn't do anything until the last 5 minutes, the 85 beforehand we were the better side and were having a pretty horrific day up front (better known as 'starting with Simpson'). Though Selhurst Park will offer a different challenge........as the pitch might be better quality. (had to add that ending to keep on topic)
Yes. The 2nd goal wouldn't have happened on a good pitch I don't think. Meyler's massive ball should have trickled through to the keeper but it just stuck there for Gedo and Caldwell to battle for and obviously Gedo won. You mean Koren and Aluko?
In light of our last few away performances, is it possible that the perceived poor condition of our pitch is actually helping us?
As I said the other day, the **** pitch got us an assist for the 2nd goal against Birmingham. There's no way that ball should have held up for Gedo like that, on a decent pitch it would have trickled through to the keeper.
