Shes the 265th seed ... she was 5th at 20, but then she realised modelling was easier and paid better. Its my future wife eugenie bouchard.
There used to be a massive beef between Lewisham and Peckham boys (probs still is) when I grew up there. I used to do a paper round in Deptford which kind of straddled the two, but I never really got involved in any of that **** though. Could easily have gone down the same route as some of my mates, but I was pretty good at swimming and spent most of my yoot at Ladywell Pool swimming for Lewisham borough.
Im just tugging chains mate, luckily i just missed all that postcode wars ****, thankfully i realised quite young that while all my mates are ripping watches and handbags off the street and worried about feds and comebacks, i could make more than that by being wise and not knocking people. Like you can live dishonestly but its doesn't mean you have to be dishonest if ya know what i mean
Yeah I hear you homes, Gentleman's code and all that. When I was growing up in Lewisham it was back in the 80's, so a lot of the beef back then was between National Front racist ****ers and gangs of black and Pakistani lads. But most of the gang stuff was actually local rival beefs between petty criminals, somebody dealing in somebody else's manor, somebody selling knocked off electrical gear in the wrong pub, some local pikey turf wars, that kind of stuff. That postcode **** was there, but it was nowhere near as bad as it is nowadays. I used to go a little one day festival in Mountsfield park in Catford back then, proper community affair, Rastas, Punks, Families with kids, old Caribbean couples from the original Windrush generation. Real laid back affair. Last time I went back in around 2014 it was full on po-po, metal detectors at the gates, full frisk on entry etc. My mate said that the year before there had been a full on street battle between Lewisham and Peckham gangs of yoot, gun shots going off the lot. Pricks.
Chelsea My dads family moved to MK from Battersea in the London overspill in the early 70's, and my mums lot were from Islington.
