It's been over 30 years since I last had an alcoholic beverage. Can't say that I've ever missed it but I don't have bundles of cash as a result, I still get the rounds in when we go out. Just because I am teetotal doesn't mean I have to be a miser.

I totally avoid pubs, clubs and other places serving booze: the temptation would be too much for me, I know.
During my worst stage I was spending about £400 a week on booze. No lie. It almost cost me everything, including my life.

Indeed they are. But my worst days were back when you could get a pint for £2.50. I used to go in my local Spoons and drink half a dozen £5 jugs of vodka & Red Bull. My blood sugar was through the roof, which isn't too good for a diabetic.
That's a price worth paying imho
My social life, football following and to a lesser extent swinging lifestyle all revolve around the booze.

I must have mistakenly not allowed viewing of who voted for what and can't seem to change that so we shall never know. I could try doing another favourite pint thread next week and maybe the swine might give him/her self away.
I can't drink cider, reminds me of the apple-flavoured vomit of my youth when we made snakebite with Special Brew and Merrydown.
