So who replaces him?

Mats Daehli or Ravel are the obvious choices to start to bring a bit of flair into the side, but does Rallsy deserve a shot after his performance in the second half on Saturday?

Ralls left midfield. But id pick Ravel as well.

Daehli bench. Turner bench instead of Gabbs.

Ralls for me after a good second half Saturday. Gives a better shape and balance. Good cover for Fabio too.

If home I might have gone with Ravel. Good to bring him off bench away.

Safety first would mean Ralls and that's the sensible approach. Slade should adopt his usual 4-4-2 set up and if so, the two up top will be the same - Kiko and Alf, but is there room for another option?

If he wants to include Ravel from the start, he'd be wasted out wide. Either one of those two front runners would need to sit it out to allow Ravel to play just behind the other. The other alternative would be to stick with the two front runners and sacrifice one of the middle 4. I can't see Whitts and Gunnar not starting so that leaves the wide men Noone and the suggested Ralls.

Playing with a lopsided single wideman setup shouldn't be a problem with the pace of Fabio and Brayford at wingback to provide the width down both sides. I'd like to see him try that keeping just Noone out wide and switching him from right to left from time to time.

I love this bloody game!........<laugh>
