just to add, the diamond was only really used to combat newcastle and their defensive failings - i think lambert stuck with it as he didn't want to change a winning team. i expect changes soon, if not tomorrow night then against spurs
Yep we will need to not play the diamond against spuds, especially if bale and Lennon play
I don't know much about the wolves midfield (luckily) so not sure
What its like and what formation we should adopt. Certainly we should stick with holt and morro as their defence is leaky
They have been playing a flat 4-4-2 recently, and with jarvis out on the wing against our diamond i think we could come unstuck! It is a shame but i think maybe the 4-2-3-1 against wolves could be our best bet for 3 points in this game!

and that would (assuming morison is fit) mean that holt will be on the bench. i don't believe he can play the lone striker role at this level unfortunately
Sounds as if moro is fit, but holty does certainly do a job when hes on the bench
As lambert says, its all about the squad and team effort hence why he dropped hoolahoop and holty when he did. Not saying he should drop him for lack of form but for what would be best for the team as a whole
