Let's not get too excited. An average player, who couldn't command a place, has commented on the importance of Modric (probably as the result of a leading question by the hack involved.) There is no comment from Modric, who seems to be in the form of his life and enjoying his football and barring a disasterous drop off in form will get CL football next year. It's not like the little fella will be reading the paper over over breakfast and the piece will suddenly make him realise where he stands. He knows he is integral to the our plans and that he is valued here. To be fair, going to what will essentially be a rebuilding job at the Chavs, under God knows who, doesn't really look that enticing.
He said he wanted to go to Chelsea (not the flower show) so if he wants to now stay at Spurs he would have to had changed his mind. See how that works ?
A challenge for you: Provide a substituentable and verifiable link to anywhere Modric has stated that he wants to go to Chelsea. As you will be unable to go away and shut the **** up and comment on threads where you have facts to substantiate your lies, made up stories and drivel. To be fair no one on this board knows if he's changed his mind,so he could be quite happy at Spurs or not.The way he's playing and his attitude suggests he is quite happy atm.

Surely if he were to want to go anywhere it would be to a better club than Spurs .... so that's Fulham's junior club and the goons out of the running.
Modric will go to whatever club offers him most money. Like 99.9% of footballers he is a mercenary and money is his main priority.
Sorry, I've got to disagree with that. If that were the case he'd be off to Azhni, or PSG. Sure, money is an important factor. However, I don't believe that Modric is quite that shallow. I think he's ambitious, and wants to win things.

Yes seriously. What gives you any indication that Modric will not want to move again this summer. Some people seem to forget he didn't play the first few games of the season when we really needed him because he told Redknapp he wasn't in the right mental state to play.
I'd say the only ones making themselves look stupid here, are those who feel the need to respond with a hissy fit.
