Loved the 1894 kit, remember the thrill of getting it for my 50th birthday. Unfortunately the girlfriend refuses to go out with me when I wear it.

Yes, the 57-61, I recall that one well.
Unfortunately, I also remember the ignominy of the R word for the first time.
Sorry DPP, but that one has to be discarded.

I'll always have a soft spot for the mid-late 70s away kit just because it was the first I ever got. It's not up there but it was basically the same as the 73-74 away but with green shorts instead of blue. Probably looked hideous, but I loved getting that strip.

Have to agree with the majority and say my favourites were 95-97 home and 95-96 away.

Could you not afford one until your 50th birthday then?

    This for me.

I did love the 95-96 away with Ginola flying though. I can't decide if it was the strip or the fact we had a ridiculous team around that time though? It was the same when I remember being very excited by this fella in this strip. I thought we were gonna be the bees knees, we'd signed a brazilian international to replace Beardo. That team was class that first season O'Neill, Gazza and Mira. Then as is normal for us it all went tits up. Where are they now? Gazza is a national laughing stock and massive drunk. O'Neill is making great strides as Northern Ireland boss although been in the headlines for the wrong reasons this week, and **** knows about Mira. Maybe pig farming like good ol Jim suggested. I think O'Neill would be a viable option in the future given his work on limited resources with Northern Ireland!
