I aint wming and i have been very careful not to blame all or most liverpool fans which is why i have not mention the incident at the oldham match or the bloke filmed making monkey noises v man utd...they are not reresentative of football fans.
You are right about the article...so i apologise...it was the second comment that pissed me off...re Diane Abbott...she was.made to apologise...was slaughtered in the london press and tv all week ...serves her right in my opinion...yet it is constantly descibed as it was swept under the carpet....it is irrating hearing that 'its ok if your black' on a lot of sites...or pc gone mad....should have ignored it i guess but hey ho.
Again sorry if you think i was wumming...will leave your board for you lot to enjoy.

The issue is that Piara Powar for months has been slamming Liverpool over our handling of the case, being on a high horse, claiming we are wrong to defend a racist (who was charged with using a racially offensive word, not with racism) and now, Powar has been caught red-handed using a racially offensive word.

It doesn't matter if it's racist in context or not, because that didn't matter when he was criticizing Suarez about it. He used a racially offensive term in an offensive manner, yet he is the leader of an anti-racism committee.

The sheer hypocrisy should be enough to get him sacked. He should practice what he preaches.

Not racist? Are you nuts? It implies race treachery, which when it singles out a person of whichever race, based on race, is racism.

You can't call a white man a coconut and mean anything intelligible. Anymore than you can call a black man a Wigger.

As far as I'm concerned, the bigger worry is that someone supposedly promoting better 'race' relations appears to espouse subversive views on such relations - we don't need to confirm with 'them', 'they' need to conform with us. Its a BNP PR wetdream if this turns out to be Powar's genuine twitter account...
