That snapshot of the Nani incident is how I saw it, considering he's looking straight at Arbeloa, leg extended, and he doesn't retract it from there either, the body's instant trigger reaction if something catches you by surprise. The claim he was looking up is dismissed and as the ball dropped he would have seen Arbeloa in his peripheral vision earlier, you don't have to turn your head! imo Nani knew he was there long enough to brace himself through that challenge, and I think thats dangerous play.
I ask you now, forget all the professional opinion so far, imagine its the first time you've seen it, could that be a red based purely on what you see there?, forget what led up to that point, just what you see....and that is all I meant yesterday with my minority view. Hopefully some of you might see what I was on about even if you still disagree, its difficult in words sometimes.
