The three dots thing must be a setting somewhere. At home I see nothing but three dots, on my father-in-laws pc I see the pictures. Any ideas please?

You can't post a picture unless there is text, so people put 3 dots but some pictures just don't load
 
I've never had any issue with images, shame to read so many do though, I always thought as long as your Adobe is up to date, and its the right http address, it should work.
 
It's only started happening recently and only on this forum. Doesn't matter if I'm at home. Work or on mobile. Odd but seems to be happening to quite a few,
 
I take it those affected check to see if the 'display images' box is ticked in General Settings, and its not turned itself off for whatever reason?
 
It doesn't happen with every image , although mostly with images posted by HBIC which in itself could explain something :p
 
Suggestion: Use Chrome for images. Firefox does not work for me with images although I use it for everything else.
