Interesting one... have no problem with skateboarders generally (used to do a bit myself) really dislike the ones who choose to do it quite fast down the (busy) pavement where people are walking as that's a bit dangerous, but am also a respecter of private property
She could have handled this better as they're nice lads. If she'd just said look can you not skate on my land / house please because I don't want you to ruin my stone or break something it would have set the situation up better.
Probably they would have said sorry miss and gone elsewhere as like i say they're ok lads. If they'd been a bunch of ****s to her then she'd have a right to start getting like how she behaves in the vid with them. So she really takes the wrong approach there
I guess her reasoning for taking the board is that they're messing with my property so I'll mess with theirs. But actually they're not stealing anything or apprehending anything from her like she does to them.
And I don't think she'd get the outcome from calling the Sheriff that she's expecting / hoping for either

Nah, they were being polite because they were recording it. She clearly said she'd asked them not to do it already. They were encouraging her to do something. If they were genuinely nice lads, they'd have gone back and made sure she was alright.
You see this is the problem, seeing them as a problem. Ohh kids hanging around with skateboards. They were cocky teenagers, imagine that! how dare they,! not like we were cocky teenagers at any stage like, you are too fat and old man.
If you are a **** towards kids like that what do you expect? respect? If they were bad kids she would never have got into that situation because she would have been to afraid to and she would have just called the cops.
I don't automatically blame the kids, especially since I used to be like it myself. But my point was that there had clearly been incidents prior to that recording. Being nice polite boys when they clearly knew they were being recorded doesn't mean they are nice polite boys does it? They were even asked not to skate there on the footage before doing so. They were laughing the most of the time too, especially when running away after she had fallen over.
There is always more than one side to a story, I certainly won't believe the first thing I see or hear. She could of handled it better but they weren't blameless either.
I will tell you this, if there were kids playing on my block, as often happens where I live now, the first thing I do is ask them their names and talk to them. She didn't know one of those kids and didn't want to know.
She treated them like scumbags, but if they were real scumbags she woud not have went near them. Aggressive domineering ****
Getting on a first name bases and asking them if they can please leave cos "it is my job to keep this space clear" would imo have done the job
And dont be lying, you're a "get off my lawn you damn kids type![]()

Enlighten me, what happened before the camera was switched on...?
PS...I'd love to tell folks to get off my lawn, it would mean I had a lawn!!!![]()

You know, that defence is used by police when they shoot a black dude or brutalise someone.
She clearly stated she already asked them to move. You can bet from her disposition it was a snarky "**** off" type comment.
She treated them like a problem and they reacted in kind treating her as a problem.
Maybe, in which case she should have handled it better. However, you can equally say the youngsters should have moved on when asked irrelevant of how they were asked. Not saying people would just accept being told to ****off, I certainly wouldn't, but that's principals rather than right or wrong. If it was private land then they shouldn't have been there in the first place so the way of being asked is irrelevant (although I still agree there is a way of doing it)
Of course they should have moved, but they are kids ffs, they hung on hoping they could just stay there sakeboarding.
I have to ask my kids 4 times to do something, and I am the parent, wtf dude, you old crusty ****
Kids can be stubborn, doesn't make them right. Good to see you came around to what I was saying though buddy![]()
