Klopp's record is partly that way because he's stuck to relative underdogs. It seems to be how he likes it.
Managers win campaigns but players win games. He's gotten our underdogs to three finals, one of them after only four months and that was lost on penalties.
He won his first final with Dortmund a few weeks after winning the Bundesliga. Not quite the Swiss league but still. And both against one of the best Bayern sides ever. Lewandowski didn't go off injured.
tbh he's been let down a couple times by us.

karius ****ed it last night.
the thing is he has no plan b so we may just enjoy plan a and hope it works some time for us.
Or perhaps more accurately he doesn't have the depth for a plan B. John Henry asked why players go to Barca or Real to sit on the bench. I hope he's getting a clue.
