Congratulations Bonbon! If you get a choice, you should take the party. Now I'll have to console myself chasing GE to the league title, and things aren't looking too promising on that.

Looks like Bob has conceded the trophy - 5-2 behind and both he and BonBon predicting a Celtic victory at RP.

Of course, a devious player might have considered changing his prediction before kickoff to a Killie victory <whistle>

Top scorer this weekend was BonBon with 20 points, and excellent performance which also resulted in him beating Bob The Yank 6-3 in the innaugurral PPL FA Cup Final. Congratulations <bubbly>

Killie61 and German Exile both scored 16 points, which sees the later move into the last week of the season with a healthy, if not unassailable, lead at the top of the table. In the battles for the minor places, it is still tight and the pressure is beginning to tell with Mad Milburn losing a potential 8 points by not recording a score for St.Mirren. He is locked in a tense battle with defending Champion Del Boy for the bronze medal; Newbie and long-time FOK leader Super Stu, also let nerves get the better of him, by predicting a Hibs player to score in a 1-0 defeat.

I'm sure picking a scorer that plays for both teams must be against the rules <doh>

The penultimate matches of the season resulted in some high scores. Top dog was Killie61, whose 24 points was just 4 short of the season's best, but was enough to move him into third place in the table. Bob The Yank's 21 points was, unfortunately for him, matched by German Exile, to leave the gap at the top unchanged. So while the paupers of the SPL look forward to another Helicopter Sunday, the majestic PPL has got the Jumbo on standby, just in case the trophy has to cross the Atlantic.

    1. German Exile. 133 96 78 191 498 [FOK]
    2. Bob The Yank. 120 87 69 195 471
    3. Killie61..... 123 63 72 138 396 [WTS]
    4. Mad Milburn.. 118 81 57 139 395
    5. Killie Delboy 110 87 66 131 394 [LGE]
    6. SuperStuKFC.. 123 72 57 133 385
    7. Bonbon....... 108 72 63 119 362 [CUP]
    8. Killie Colin. 122 69 39 126 356
    9. Killie Gausy. .93 63 42 .88 286
    10 Firepitfen... .95 33 39 118 285
    11 Pascalis YC.. .68 51 27 .78 224
    12 King Pascali. .57 36 33 .86 212

The final fixtures of the season are:
    Sat
    Hamilton v Inverness CT, 15:00
    Hibernian v Aberdeen, 15:00
St Mirren v St Johnstone, 15:00
    Sun
    Celtic v Motherwell, 12:30
    Dundee Utd v Hearts, 12:30
    Kilmarnock v Rangers, 12:30

Just to make it a bit more interesting, we'll have TWO jokers on each day.

    Good Luck!

Thanks GE for keeping this going, it is much appreciated.

A good summer to everyone and hopefully everyone will be back in July.

Just watched the highlights on BBC website and had forgotten how many chances we created. Hopefully we will watch similar football next season although it will be difficult to match some of what we have seen this season. Eremenko has been an absolute joy to watch and he was again outstanding on Wednesday night.
