Could well have been ...we loved Cottee and repaid his efforts by giving him a League Cup winners medal ...the only time he won something in a fine career. Him and Heskey were excellent together ...remember them notching one each as we beat Fergie's United at Old Trafford.

 

Yeah, he was a great player, natural goal scorer and a West Ham boy through and through, which is probably why we sold him, cos that's what we always do.
