He's a good player but the fee was excessive considering he couldn't even get a game at Chelsea.

  3. Top top player. Needed to work on his work rate and fitness, he did it. Needed to improve his shooting, he's seems to have do this too. Just needs to work on his consistency now.

the main issue with Mata is that he is just too slow.

Di maria is blessed with pace.

The issue i see if van gaal has tried but cannot find a means to get players into a team that works.

EG. you have rooney... as captain but his best position is no 10. Van gaal seems to want di maria there but seeing he's muck at it he's out on wing again. don't worry though quality will shine through. Ozil was absolute muck second half of last year for arsenal but he is quality.

the real issue IMO is too many player in one positon and not enough in another.

eg... 50 left fulls, no CMs. 5 no 10s, van gaal can't make up his mind.

If utd could get the 3-4-3 working like LFc have they could be good. but so far he's not

the fans want 4-4-2... city just showed how 4-4-2 can be got at.

    A 4-3-3 might work.

    4-1-2-1-2 might work..

Great. Just wished he would do the favourite trick more often and less of the disappearing act :bandit:

Right side really didn't auit him I felt as he ran too laterally and had not **** threat. The goal came of set piece which he didn't deliver all that well

In short... Why is he playing right side ? He's played left side all the time we went on our run. Has sterling said he wants left side?

No. In the last 5 games I've watched or listened to, we've scored when I go for a piss followed by a ***. It even happened in the united game when Sturridge scored <ok>
