I think some of PB comments could be smoke and mirrors, maybe trying to deflect some of the attention so we might have an easier ride in actually purchasing a preferred site. It's only a month ago since TF and the press boys started talking about hopefully bringing us some good news regarding the stadium. So it is either a case of trying to put others off guard regarding sites, or it's a case of things are going badly in trying to find the rite site?? Who knows. But we all know that things are moving in the right direction and we will eventually have a lovely new stadium. I guess PB's comments regarding not being able to fill the new stadium is based on the fact that we very rarely fill LR, which isn't a case of not being able to, but more to do with the fact most Rangers fans know it isn't worth paying good money to sit behind a huge steel girder. Plus we rarely seem allowed to fill the corner sections of the ground. Plus PB is new to the Rangers family and might not be aware of our level of support. A fact that surprised me is we hold the record for most tickets sold by one team for a domestic final, 67k for the milk cup in '96, so I'm sure it wont take long to fill our new stadium.
The UEFA rules only apply if you qualify for Europe, it wont be a problem for us. As for the att. we can have 13k home fans and you cant get a no restricted view ticket or 2 seats together. I wouldnt go to any game with one of those terrible views, they should be half price and not £5 off.
If (and it's a big if) they are planning on a site like the White City Stadium site I believe the BBC are moving at the end of 2014. Maybe that's why it'll be 5 years. Keep calm and keep the faith
who came second re the tickets record also how long is it that liverpool have been trying to sort out a new stadium
