It sounds to me rather like cutting off your nose to spite your face. I want to see Rangers punished and humiliated as much as the next Celtic fan. Going into administration and being deducted 10 points might not seem that bad but for an institution like Rangers it would be an utter humiliation. The club and the fans will forever after be reminded of the fact and everyone will put the boot in. Do you really want to return to the days of 4,000 home crowds just for the same of seeing Rangers go out of business?
Phil is **** stirring, I don't know why people place so much enthuses on what this guy writes. Surly you see he is trying to pressure the Celtic board to lobby for a harsh punishment for Rangers? He's a bit of a fanny but the morons that think Rangers are some sort of evil empire that have infiltrated every aspect of Scottish established society with the sole purpose of keeping the Catholics down by hindering a football team at every opportunity lap his ****e up.
Days of 4000 crowds would never return ,Rangers have to punished according for Scottish football to move forward , if we make a rule up to help Rangers out as the blog suggests that would be death nail for scottish football . All these non old firm fans always say we play to different rules , they would have it written in black and white if Rangers are bailed out
This Harry - There is no 'minimum and maximum' penalty the SPL can give to Rangers. There is a standard 10 point penalty. Do you think Celtic will actually lobby for Rangers to get a bigger penalty? You obviously don't realise the level of co-operation between the two clubs that is hidden from the average fan. They like to promote rivalry, but in reality they can get better deals by working together.
According to the East Stirling manager the one rule for Rangers one rule for other clubs has happened again , his player got a 14 match ban for man handling the ref , he said his player actions were same as Bougerra in last season old firm game , his words not mine
Who gives a ****? Maybe he is saying that to try get his players suspension lessened. I would imagine there would not be any video evidence that could be used from that game. Can't believe you're still greetin' about something that happened last season
There was video evidence that was upset the East Stirling manager, of course that game still upset us , your team were a disgrace 10 bookings , 3 sending offs and only Neil Lennon got punished .Imagine if it was the other way round (no chance ) you bears would be still going on about it , look how badly you took a wrong throw in over 20 years ago !!!
that's two or three managers that have highlighted different rules for different clubs , remember poor old Jim Gannon tried to speak out about it ,before Motherwell punted him back down south
