Funtastic Fact: Jones only picked up four bookings last season.. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...son-What-youre-getting.html?ito=feeds-newsxml
Put it into perspective; in a world were Andy Carrol is worth 35million and ashley young is worth around 16; even though hes only got one year on his contract, Phil Jones is a steal at 16. Stop questioning the price SAF knows what hes doing
Oh hey, I see you're still stalking me. Listen mate, I don't know how to break this down to you. This is a football forum. We come on here to discuss football and exchange opinions. If you're seeking a partner, I'd advise you to go on one of those date sites for people who are sexually frustrated. Much love, Kamran.
I think it was nothing more than a rumour (perhaps started by nolhman) on twitter that has then be re-tweeted. But you could understand it if United were to take every precaution in this medical after the Hargreaves incident. I never get why Fergie gets criticised by rival fans for signing Hargreaves. It was the medical staff who ran the tests on him who were at fault.
He has not failed a medical, it says on the Liverpool forum that Henderson failed a medical as well, deal will be done soon
What a bunch of clowns ! Really think if hes failed his medical he would be flying out the same day to start fo the u21s this weekend ? I know the guy personally (he passed his medical) and seen alot of his season bargain at £16m
Whilst I'm sure he hasn't failed his medical ( a reporter with the U21 confirmed he hadn't) it's a bit harsh to call the posters a bunch of clowns when you seem to lack a basic understanding of what a medical is ! Medicals check for potentail future injuries not just current injuries so it would be completely plausable for somebody to fail a medical but continue playing the next day. Did you not read about the whole Ba to Stoke / West Ham situation. CLOWN
Haha no that is were you are wrong , a medical with a football club determines current physical condition , it looks at how the body can cope with intense physical work to see if it strains the body. To FAIL a medical when transfering club a player must show signs of an immidiate problem or an extremley serious long term one e.g Shin splint tearing of muscle tissue. If a potential long term injury is found then the player would undergo immediate action to counter act that and rectify the problem causing discomfort. He would not fly around the world to play at the weekend And yes Ba classic example pretty sure when he moved he wasnt in the squad for a number of games ..... so dont go giving it the big one
Do you really think somebody could fail a medical because they can't play for a number of weeks ? Didn't Andy Carroll pass a medical at Liverpool whilst on crutches and sign for 35 million ? Medicals don't only assess current injury. They are put through various tests to assess both current condition and any conditions they may exist to cause FUTURE problems. These future problems may not stop them playing now but could cause problems further down the line in their career.
So like I said, is this not assessing long term injury ? Is it also not grounds for failing a medical ? Would United want to pay 17 million for someone who needs a problem recitifyng. We got burnt here with Hargreaves. Also in regards to giving it the big one weren't you the one who came on calling people clowns ?
Basically you said Ba failed his medical as he could play for a number of weeks, yet Carroll passed his and when he was on crutches. Therefore to suggest it is only current condition which is assessed is wrong. The players are put through extensive examinations not just to check current injuries but also if there is any potential for future injuries from existing condtions. ( which if you check my first repsonse is what I stated ). The exisiting condition may not stop them playing now but could still cause a medical to be failed ( hence not a current injury but a condition that could cuase future injury ). Anyway after reading through the posts it seems we are both arguing the same point but from a different perspective.
No i said Ba joined and didnt play for West Ham after his medical , did not say he failed his medical because he coudlnt play, due to failing a medical close to the time West Ham put him through rehab style training to aid his possible long term problems before playing him I also said the are examined for possible long term injuries ? I also said they can fail medical from an existing problem that may not stop them playing now (but would be looked at after a medical as if the problem could nt be helped he would not sign) Yeah im just saying people start panicking about a supposed failed medical when it clearly has not happend
