In fairness, the only really bad call he made was Nexcastle's 2nd penalty, which was ludicrous. But if he is found guilty of match fixing, then your appeal for a replay is valid imo. However, so long as no one connected with Newcastle United FC was involved in the match fixing, I don't see how they could replay the game. Probably rubbish anyway though. Refs are all **** and that's the real issue here.
Sorry like but how is ref supposed to have managed that? The red card was a little OTT but justified. Even with that how was he going to arrange for Arsenal to completely fall apart to concede 4?????? Also how was he to know that the match would have been 4-0 arsenal at half time. The second pen was rubbish but other than that just panic in the Arsenal ranks. If there was match fixing it must have involved both teams as well as officials.... Someone should have told Jack
The match fixing accusations from Stade 2 all focused on Rosicky, particularly his role in the second penalty and the foul for the free kick that led to the fourth. All the stuff about the ref is pure speculation, and not featured in any of the official reports. You can see the actual part of the program here, with a clear focus on Rosicky: http://tele.premiere.fr/Zapster/Un-incroyable-match-de-foot-plonge-au-coeur-d-une-enquete-judiciaire I can only assume that the theory is that, with Arsenal ahead someone laid them off at big odds on Betfair or some other exchange. Rosicky then came on and went into the back of two players, giving away a penalty and free kick that led to two goals and thus ensuring the draw. I also assume that the whole thing is BS.
Isnt it funny when something is said about Arsenal its just rumours or the press talking rubbish, but when its any other team, arsenal fans take it as the gospel truth. This is the problem with arsenals fans, well that and the fact that Londerners are virtually french and do not understand england and its ways
