actually i remember on 606 all the arsenal fans saying how lucky we were, 'one shot on target' etc. our second penalty was not a penalty, but our disallowed goal was not offside. - so that one evened up. nolan was out of order with pushing the goalkeeper, but under the circumstances, frustration got the better of him- plus you have to remember that as our captain he needs to be an example, and show desire to get the ball, and carry on with play. whereas diaby grabbed barton on the back of the neck, and it was in a very vicious manner., and i dont think for that you can argue it wasnt a red card. us newcastle fans could argue that wilshere should have been sent off for his persistant dissent towards the referee and officials...

Well I don't remember the majority of us saying that, but there was bound to be a few sore losers saying you didn't deserve it. About Wilshire tbh he was quite right to be angry about some of the decisions that went against us so im not going to blame him for that

Well for a solid defensive display you earned you victory earlier on in the season. But as for the draw, we're going around in circles. From your pov, it was a stirring comeback. From ours the referee did everything in his power to **** us up, as Dowd has a history of doing. Nothing to do with Newcastle really.
carrol is a liverpool player, nolan has had no problems while here, barton is a prick but i give him credit for atleast trying to change his ways. that is beyond the point anyway, they werent screaming at the ref for 90 minutes.
I Don't know about discraceful. But he strikes me a someone who is way above his station. He is talented, but already seems to think he has the divine right to win.
To be fair I think that type of perceived arrogance is found in a lot of top players. Its one of the reasons they make it there in the first place. And Carrol only became a liverpool player last week, whereas you have been defending him for a lot longer than that. So you can't go and say now that he is scum unless you want to be completely hypocritical.

i remember in the first half inparticular, arsenal winning a lot of free kicks unfairly, off the top of my head; gutierez had one given against him, literally from a shoulder charge. walcott also dived against enrique on edge of box, winning another free kick. the only reason we arent the ones complaining, is because you made nothing of the poor decisions given in your favour, if you had scored from them it would have been highlighted.
You do know I'm not a Newcastle fan. But yeah agreed, You do need a certain arrogance and swagger to make it Big Time. But all this twittering about refs after every game, and shouting at refs. I haven't seen it in many players this young. It's not a big issue. Just as an England fan, would love to see him cut out some of the antics
