    Hi,lumberjack. I really enjoyed your picture of Blaen y Maes as was,but when I worked in the youth club,the area was like a bad day in Beirut.
    Burnt out cars;shops boarded up after fires;houses boarded up,well,I could go on,but I don't want you to think I am knocking the place gratuitously.

    I just remembered an incident whilst I was on duty in the main hall of the club.
    I was supervising a game of murder ball,or at least I thought I was.
    One lad came in with a Doberman Pincher on a short lead.
    He walked into the centre of the room,the game stopped,the dog defecated,leaving a mountain of steaming crap in it's wake.
    No words were exchanged,everyone just looked on,as if it were a regular occurrence.
    The boy and the dog then left.
    How cool was that?

    I had a lot of fun whilst working there,and have fond memories of the place,but I was glad I lived elsewhere.
