    I'm not really sure who we could get in that'd be any better, so I suppose I'm a PF because there aren't any better options. Martinez's name often gets put around but I'm not sure he's really better than Pards.

    That doesn't mean I'm exactly in support of Pardew though, because I really don't think he's doing his job. We're a fair way into the season now and we've gone backwards since the first game. Yes, we're missing players, but the responsibility falls on the manager for trying to force a style of play which will never work with the players we have. There's other issues which I've mentioned many times like the lack of any crossing ability, set plays, etc. that Pardew and his coaches should be working on, but no progress seems to be made.

    I don't think we're going to get relegated, but I don't think we'll finish in the top half either, let alone European places. Without European football of some kind I can't see us holding on to most of our players either, so this season will definitely be a few steps back.
