I'm glad you have seen sense and offered this apology and it accepted and in the same spirit I apologise for my reference to your dear departed father.
I wonder if, under the Allams, we'd have: Arsenal Gunners, Norwich Canaries, Celtic Bhoys, Liverpool Reds, Sunderland Mackems, Stoke Potters. The list is infinite and all equally ridiculous. I stood on Bunkers Hill as a young lad but remember no specific games and I stood in the South Stand in the great era of Chilton, Wagstaff et al. I have not been back to Hull in many years but I have always followed the team I know and love as Hull City aka the Tigers. The name change is totally unnecessary and I signed the petition.
