We just have to wait until Chelsea lose against Napoli and he'll be saying all the same things about them. A fire sale won't work because you won't get good value for them and it will take longer still to rebuild a team, it's taken City this long to challenge for the title with infinite funds.

  6. Its seems like it is a little difficult for you to understand rather than get an answer. The spend over the last decade - wages and transfers is more for Arsenal than Spurs. However if the latest wage fee is correct (which it looks like it is not) the next few years may change that. But as it stnds over the last decade its Arsenal who have spent more.

    Simple really.

By the way a thread about how the players did not acknowledge the fans after the game, and Petit's views on the squad are not in any way related except they are negative. So I guess you just wanted to remove the overwhelmingly negative view on the board - whether justified or not.

  7. Yep a plastic, wumming idot just intent on baiting Arsenal fans. He really should make up a sign and go and demostrate outside the Arsenal offices if he wants to comment. Otherwise its just pointless. <whistle>

This thread is eating up precious board space. Why hasn't it been merged with all the other negative threads?

FAO Gareth Bale's Barnet, please have a quick glance at the board before making a thread. There was thread about what Petit said just two threads down from your thread.

Or merge threads of the same subject together. Two threads on what Petit said and two on what Bergkamp said. Merging them was the only option.

Don't you dare bring rational thought to a good conspiracy theory!! Everyone knows the Mods are working for Arsenal trying to suppress the un-silent majority that isn't really a majority but is in fact a few people on a forum.

Scandal!!! How dare you challenge the mighty 2 & a half by using the truth. It will only upset the poor mites :p

  17. Yep just a few people on a forum - I mean you'd never hear Petit, Bergkamp, Vieira, Parlour, Wright, or Merson complain, and the fans generally are very very happy with the way things are going. <laugh>

Seriously I have no problem with merging of threads that are on the same topic, but not all the the merged threads were.

  18. But let's remember that there could be creative thought at work. Well, sort of....

Creative thought though can end up in the wrong places too as the partners of Arthur Andersen know only too well.

  19. Yes, especially as the 'Dispicable Players' headline - relating to the current bunch who failed to acknowledge the away fans now looks as though it relates to the old players criticising our club. Its an example of completely changing the views intended.

  20. But let's be charitable here and call it the misunderstandings of officialdom though of course I remember it as a rather clear day but not everyone can see forever.
