What I meant was that Saxton gets grief for it, whereas others don't.
Tbf saxton is next level. Theres few people i cant stand or at least tolerate and ignore. Hes one of the few who i do not like even though i dont interact with him (or at least his online persona)
The problem with Pete, and I dare say a few others, on both sides, is that they got it into their heads that Brexit was a Left Wing vs Right Wing argument, when it really ****ing isn't.

People forget over 4 million Labour voters voted for Leave, of which I am one of them.
People that voted Leave aren't all Daily Mail Tory voters who are racist, right wing evangelical christians who are anti abortion, capitalist pigs.
Same as all remain voters aren't Guardian reading, Soy Latte drinking, vegan ***gots who wear sandals and crave socialism.

As soon as the politics thread became that, I personally was done. There's a couple of posters on here I'd have fallen out with big time otherwise.
I voted remain by the way. I can see the point of view of leavers without calling them racists though.
I voted to remain too, but the behaviour of some remainers on here was ****ing embarrassing.I don't think that was the case on the politics thread. Most Remain contributors knew that Bod and Windy voted Leave and I don't think either were ever called racists as they very clearly aren't.

I can see why remainers voted as they did.
But to some people the debate is ignored and instead it has become and "Us vs them" battle where some people have actually gotten violent and families have proper fallen out over it.
The funny thing is, 5 years ago, no one gave a ****, voting numbers were at a record low and people weren't political at all, at least not in public.
Now there are literally people who judge others solely on whether they voted leave or remain......batshit.
