Prefer mine without sauce. I should try it one day as it probably adds a bit of a kick to it.

Perinaise. Unorthodox, but it does the trick.

    Brown sauce every time.
Not the 'fruity' (too sweet) type either. HP is good enough.

Tomato sauce is something I grew out of in the 1970's.

Older than I look, younger than I feel these days...
I enjoyed tomato sauce on my fish fingers and peas as a youngster, but brown sauce is my grown-up favourite.
I've tried some of the 'posh' ones in the supermarkets*, but HP is what I always come back to.

(*I didn't actually try them in the supermarket, I bought them and took them home first.)

A sad day for Britain when HP Sauce was bought out by the French. To be fair, they have kept the fantastic flavour. Even Sainsbury's pork pies are edible when smothered in the stuff.

If any of the 'quality shoe' brigade get the inkling that you're down on the French FHB they'll be up in arms...

No, I love France, just that HP sauce, with its picture of Royston's workplace, was always a very British condiment.

If I cannot be made a moderator I think I should be given the position of Thread Creator.

The charity shop thread was very thought provoking and interesting

I have contacted Roy (brb) and 606 rules state that a maximum of 3 Mods are allowed.

We need AHLL for his lemons & strawberries, and Don for his detailed match reports.

I would therefore suggest that @SuperChrissyisfantasticPardswasatrocious Is vulnerable Elfs <whistle>

I'll inbox Don and AllHell to make a date for a mods meeting to discuss how to move 606 further forward.

There was a scandal pending so I thought it best to jump now.

I'm sure AH and Don would welcome Elfs with open arms <cheers>
