Peterbourough are top of the form table after winning five out of the last six games and drew the last games they
six wins one draw two loses scored 14 goals conceded 8

town have
one win three draws four loses scored scored 5 conceded 8

to say this is a a tough game is an understatament the only crumb of comfort is that in the last game they drew with the bottom club .

at the present if town go behind it is virtually game over, so our defence must stop conceding soft goals..i am just wondering if it would be worth having for a few games and just have cummings parked in or on the edge of the box.playing him as we do does not seem to contribute much.with clarke as the target man to lay the ball off to cummings.
Ricketts has got to instill some self belief in this team and they in there part need to show a much better work ethic and show up.
im a pessamist so have a very low expectations from this game but another poor performance will just increase the disatisfaction from the fans.

if the weather does not improve they face a wet and windy game, the long ball wont work so they need to keep it on the ground and go for some daisy cutter shoots and hope the kepper spills it ,with clarke injured and cummings ill we face more injury ilness problems. town need to fired up and come out fighting

Town make a bright start and are playing some nice footbal, udoh having a good game danile and pugh are linking up well, josh danile making his first start brings some energy to the team,a goal mouth clearence and another chance are town nearest efforts.
a complete calamity at the back, a soft penalty and 1-0. town make the best possible responce with josh daniels scoring.all townneeded to do was keep it level to half time but press hte self destruct button with deadful defending 2-1 and an idiotic nasty tackle that could have broken a players leg as vela has red card and a mountain to climb for town.

you have to feel sorry for ricketts as the defence yet again fail to do the basics.
the second half was always going to be a mountain to climb and town had some chances but another soft goal and the defence have really let the team down.the keeper made a number of good saves or it would have been 8, but a combination of kepper error and a lack of tracking a player and it 4-1, out of all the players on the pitch you would think that the player who has already scored twice would be in the front of the mind of evry defender suicidal defending ,then feeble defending and it is 5-1 and right the kepper throws his arms up .what is emabarrassing is they hardly had to get out of second gear to beat us 5-1 with vurtually non existent defending doing school boy errors . after 3-1 towns defence just gave up

I dont feel sorry for rickets if thats how he sets his team up you was only in it for 20 mins and you was very poor posh didt play well and made you look good till that pat of of a player of yours tried to break dembele leg with a two footed challenge.

the chalenge by Vela was very badand deserverd a red i am just relived there player was not seriously injured..
