The ref will say the ball had already got away from him, but we'll never know if that's true or not because their defender clipped him before Dykes could lunge for the ball.

 

Guess we will not win the FA Cup this year.

If we do loose, then at least we can now fully concentrate on the Championship.

On a positive, if we were due to have an “off day”, then better it is today than Wednesday.

Seems we had most of the game, but lost 2-0.

Peterborough down to 10 due to an injury, break from the corner and Dozzell lucky not to see a straight red for pulling Jones back just before Jones would have run through on goal.

 

That player punched Dozzell and got away with it.

 

Seems we can’t cope without Willock & Field

 

Poor last half hour...... not created anything since Chair and Steff went off....

 

Didn't see it, but definitely Field I would guess.

 

Ft. Concentrate on Promotion.

 

No great loss being out of the cup. All we could have realistically hoped for was a draw against a PL side. Likelihood of injury to key players now avoided. We’ve played worse and won. So be it. Would far rather lose a cup than league game at this stage of the season.

 

They'll be nicely rested so we can hammer Boro in the week and cement our place in the top two...

I feel sorry for the thousands who travelled up there to end up with this. History should have forewarned them...
