Yeah I seem to remember, was it Sunlan when Peter Reid was manager, doing that? That was funny stuff, but quite a good insight if I remember correctly.
Very good performance on Saturday against a poor side. Good atmosphere in the away end and lots of beers drunken. Watched the GM interview after the game for Boro the man is a ****ing robot.
Sunderland more recently and Spurs also. I suspect it will be something that will generate income and raise our profile. Its give and take with owners isn't it?
Didn't inter do a reality thing were you could win a contract at the end of it. Was a long time ago, can't quite remember the details without googling (which I can't be arsed). ...anyway, won't be that.
The Big Ron one at Peterborough Utd was pretty funny. Must have been 20 years ago. Their manager, can't remember his name, was understandably non-plussed and the team nose dived from the top.
I guess Baz has been reading: https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/spo...surprise-star-performer-revealed-hull-6729590
Had a quick think about this and maybe it happened at one of these points too (tried to just include players who made several first team appearances and probably forgot some): Andy Saville, Pete Skipper, Neil Buckley, Pat Heard, Garreth Roberts (late 80s) Linton Brown, Steve Wilson, Garry Hobson, Neil Allison, Dean Windass, Adam Lowthorpe (mid 90s)
I don’t get to the game and read that Slater played well at wing back . Can someone who went expand on how he did , can he do it again?
He was very good albeit when we went 3-0 up the whole team seemed to decide job done, and their sub had him on toast a couple of times. I'd like to think if it had been 1-0 he wouldn't have given him the same freedom.
Gotta to say we are a moaning lot on here. This thread has at the moment, after a great and joyful win 18 pages, the Barnsley thread after a dismal and woeful loss 40 pages (ableit for a longer time). But it shows, I guess, a human trait: we are more likely to complain about something bad than praise something good.
