I dislike making predictions as Im always proved wrong. So I predict we'll get thumped 1-1, although I believe that we will put in a very physical display with the back line the same, a high energy midfield with Winchester bossing it, assisted by Jack Russel Scowen, and a massive physical 3 up front with Chaz, AOB and big Ross. Geads and Jones flying up the wing, and win 3-0.
That will therefore mean a completely different side, completely different set of tactics and a completely different scoreline

Would love to see Wyke get back on top form for this. For his incredibly high standards this season he has been pretty quiet since Wembley

I think it’s a score draw, which will be smashing for us and will keep us firmly in the driving seat.

A win, which is more than realistic, would be monstrous.

These threads are real quality, enjoy the build up leading up to the game too.
Goes without saying how big this game is but just buzzing to feel these nerves/anxiety/excitement about safc again. The fact we’ve gotten into this position from where we were is incredible and to see the fight the players have for themselves, the manager and the club is really great to see. Going for a 1-0 win to the lads, it’s time to end a day in the automatic places, I think it happens on Monday

He knows he’s away in the summer imo. If we go up I won’t be bothered in fairness.

have finally managed to see leadbitters full interview after the cup win, he must have been boiling over with pride and happiness yet he kept it 'real', his basic first thoughts were that there were 13 games left and a lot still to play for...with good words for the work the gaffer had done.

with players like him in the squad to keep others from getting too carried away i honestly think they will handle this run in better than the rest.

His performances since Wembley are starting to become a bit of the elephant in the room. He is battling hard as ever but a bit of quality from him on Monday would be very welcome

He set up Power for his goal and although he didn't score he put an effort in and was a good foil against their defence.
Just because he hasn't scored lately, doesn't mean he's not doing a job

So you’re saying that your opinion he’s stopped trying because he knows he’s leaving the club? Seriously?

despite his contribution on Friday of working his arse off and setting up the third goal with a very good pass!!

    This one seems more realistic

A few Posh fans seem to be under the impression we’ve won countless games with the opposition having a player sent off. Can’t say I’ve really thought about it before, but it has happened a fair few times. That said, I’d still have been confident we would have gone onto win yesterday regardless.

Off the top of my head

    Ipswich x 2
    Oxford (H)
    Gillingham (A)
    Burton (A)

There were a few games at the start of the season when we had players sent off aswell

    Bristol Rovers (H)
    Charlton (A)
    Pompey (H)

Burton too, although we were already winning if my memory serves me correctly.

Because the way the game was going I felt we had the edge. Is that okay with you?

His whole game has improved, he would never have made to two passes/crosses he did for the header from Stewart or the Power gaol six months ago.

Of course teams acknowledge that Wyke often scores headers from crosses, often from Mcgeady... so it is not surprising teams are taken measures to prevent this.

So it is not also surprising that teams concentrating on Wyke mean more space for others to score.

Gooch seemed to grasp that from the off.

At Peterborough I think Johnson will bypass the midfield going forward and pack it when defending.

Launching the ball to Wyke/AOB/Stewart will put pressure on their ropey defence and avoid a mudbath in the middle of the pitch ...

... I don't want to see too much of McGeady and Jones backtracking too much tbh.

Having said that our bench could play a big part as usual.

I don’t get why that’s a point to make by them or anyone!! Have any of the red cards against us been rescinded? Fridays was a straight red in my book so could’ve been much worse (and he could’ve easily been sent off earlier).

Also this comes from the Posh who’s player took a dive to get O’Nien sent off against them last season!!
