Spot on General, but that would mean AN admitting he got it wrong when he spent £8M or so on Naismith, so not 'holding my breath' on it happening!!!
Naismith needs benching because of current form, but like Dave, I still think he could come good. He has shown plenty enough before he joined us to make me believe that he isn't a total Van Wolfswinkle yet. Bah!
A comment on the EDP on the Posh under 23 game - "But what this indicates is that we have a bunch of really good young players (and a 28-year old) who seem to click and enjoy playing together, something of a contrast to the shambles which is the so-called first team at the moment. It seems to me that AN should give several of these lads their chance in the first team until the under-performers (who for some reason seem to be picked irrespective of their performance) pull their socks up and also show the grit, determination and togetherness we seem to be lacking." Says it all for me!!
I had a quick read of the EDP match report today and the lowest any player got was 6 and there were several at 7.5 or 8. Compared to Saturday's player ratings, when most were under 6!!!!
