Saturday saw yet another disappointing result at home as we went down 1-0 to Burnley. Tonight see's us away to Peterborough in a game I am pretty confident about us winning despite the fact Peterborough look to be having a mini revival and even beating blackburn away at the weekend. Peterborough at home was one of the only four games this season in which we have won infront of the home crowd. Two late goals from Ricardo Fuller and Yann Kermorgant saw us run out 2-0 winners on that night.

Peterborough have won 3 of their last 5 games whilst we have only won 1 of our last 7. That being said we have never lost at London Road and I feel confident that we will win tonight and push ourselves 10 points clear of the relegation zone.

If it's anything like the last time we played there I'll be in heaven.

However, I can't see us getting anything more than a draw here.

1-1, Jackson for us.

Nice one, Belv. The Manure/Real game is on at the same time so this thread might be a bit quiet tonight. As Morrison says this is a six-pointer, and we need players who will die for the cause. I hope Cort is fit, otherwise I'd much prefer Taylor to Dervite as replacement. I expect Green to be on the bench, a bit unlucky after the way he played, and Wilson will play, at RM if Solly is back. I'd like to see us play without a target man to stop all this long-ball stuff so my team is:
Button
Solly Cort;Morro;Wiggins
Wilson;Jackson;Stephens;Harriott;
Wagstaff;Haynes.

Thanks Belvedere!

FHB, I applaud your team selection and if they line up like that, I'll eat my Millwall ticket.

I'd like to see Pritchard and Smith on the bench to mix it up late in the game but I don't suppose that's going to happen either.

Tough, tough game - I'm going for a 1-1 draw.

Evening all <ok>

Charlton: Button; Solly, Wiggins, Taylor, Morrison; Wilson, Jackson, Pritchard, Harriott; Haynes, Fuller

Subs: Hamer, Dervite, Evina, Hughes, Wagstaff, Green, Obika

Solly back, Taylor in for Cort, and, most interestingly, Harriott gets a start. I really hope he takes this oppportunity.

Great news Harriott starting. At the under-21 game on monday Kerkar started but was withdrawn at half-time. The bloke next to me said he hoped to God that didn't mean he was being saved for tonight but not to worry, he was only withdrawn because he was ineffective. Morro was also there to cheer on the kids, which is good to see. No complaints about the team.

Dreading this as we seem to sabe our worst for the teams in the lower reaches of the league. I'll take a point tonight.

Very good commentary on Player so far, even if they keep updating us on Wrexham's progress in the Conference

End to end stuff. Fuller and Mendes-Lang with chances within a minute of each other
